At beginning 15 minutes is enough for meditation. Because mind is at the end of day in state of raw vibrations, it is best to choose morning time. Mornings are relatively quiet and that is the reason mind can adjust more quickly to higher state of consciousness.

If you start a day with intent to focus ourselves onto spiritual things, we will spend day differently. If meditation becomes routine we will soon begin to think what our soul thinks.

Find a place that is very quiet and where you can meditate without interruptions. But that doesn’t mean the space must be absent of everyday sounds, because world is full of voices, but inaccessible for other persons.

a
ATTITUDE:
a

When you choose proper time and place, sit on comfortable chair and begin to meditate. Question comes to your mind: How should I sit? Is better to sit with crossed legs or should I stand? The easiest and most common pose is always the best one.

Pose with crossed legs was and is still largely used on East. Trouble with such pose is that they can lead to two non-wanted reactions: person concentrates mind on technique of process instead on objective and it frequently leads to mentality of superiority, which has base in thinking that we try to do something that majority doesn’t do and it separates as potential experts. Instead of being occupied by self, we do conversely.

Choose a pose that will allow you to easily forget, that we have physical body. For people of West this is probable a pose of sitting. Main condition is to sit straight (spine must be in straight line) and relaxed so body is not in tense and then we let beard a little in back part of neck without tension. Meditation is inner act and can be successfuly performed only, if body is relaxed, properly adjusted and then forgotten.

a
BREATHING:
a

After reaching physical comfort, relaxed state and when we isolated ourselves from awareness of body, we observe our breathing and try to figure out if it is quiet, steady and rhythmic.

Breathing exercises have nothing in common with spiritual development, therefore it is important just to see that our breath is quiet and regular. Then we isolate our thoughts from body and start with concentration.

a
VISUALISATION AND CREATIVE USE OF IMAGINATION
a

Next step of meditation is the use of imagination; imagine a man that is coordinated or in direct communication with soul. This can be done in many ways. It is called visualization. It seems that visualization, imagination and the will are three strong breakers at all creative processes. They are subjective reasons for our numerous objective successes.

At first, visualization is mostly experimental trust. We know that through process of thinking we can come to understanding that inside and outside of all things exists ideal subject or pattern that searches for clarity on physical level. Visualization, representation and usage of will are thoughtful activities, that accelerate expression of this ideal.

When we create mental image, material substance of our mind causes certain degree of vibrations that invites to itself proper degree of material substance in which mind is recessed. Will is the one that holds that image steady and gives her life. This process continues even if until now we weren’t able to see it with our internal soul eye.

Physical body and nature of desire one after another sink under level of awareness, and we concentrate on mind in directing our mind toward our will.

a
CONCENTRATION:
a

Here troubles appear. Mind resists shaping of thought that we have chosen and it goes to all sides in its usual effort for material. We are thinking about what we will do today, instead of thinking about “sprouting thought”, we remember about someone we shall see or entire list of actions that call for attention. We start to think about someone we love and in same moment we all back to world of emotions and so all work must be started over again.

We collect our thoughts again and start over again and we are successful for half a minute. After that we remember that we have agreement with someone, so we again returned to world of mental reactions and our chosen chain of thoughts is forgotten. Again we collect our distracted thoughts and force our defied mind to surrender.

By the time and with practice we become able to hold mental concentration effectively in one point.
How do we reach this condition? Wisely we place borders to our mental activities in such form that when we delusion outside those borders we soon recognize it.

a There are two important things before starting to meditate: 1) Chosen time 2) Chosen proper place It is advised to plan specific time for meditating.
