20.3.2017 – Project: “Give us peace”

On Monday, 20th of March, we have gathered with 80 young high school students from Celje high schools.  The purpose was to attend a lecture titled »Practical contribution of individuals for world peace«. Lecturers were dr. Alicia Cabezudo and dr. Nina Meyerhof.  Alicia is peace activist and professor at University of Rosario. Nina is also peace activist and president and cofounder of »Children of the Earth organisation«.  Together they have managed to create an inspirative lecture about working for peace. With real-life stories and examples, they have proved, that doing something for peace is worth every effort.  Lecture was moderated by prof. Domen Kočevar, president and founder of Theosophical library and reading room of Alma M. Karlin, Celje.

Many students, inspired by given lecture, became interested in further involvement in the project for youth »Give us peace«.

»Give us Peace« is a project  in 2017, that will be conducted by a team of Theosophical Library and reading room of Alma M. Karlin, Celje, in a collaboration  with young students from High schools in Celje.

And that will be our contribution to activities for world peace.
