Magazine ARIES is published by well-known academic publisher Brill. It is first professional academic magazine meant for research of long neglected but now rapid evolving new area of humanistic named “Western Esoteric”. It is published twice a year under auspices of “European group for research of Western Esoteric”. In magazine you can find texts about different alternative streams of western religious history, including hermetic philosophy and with it connected streams in earlier modern era; alchemy, christian cabala and its later evolvement, theosophical and illuminstic streams; different sorts of occultism and all the way to popular modern streams as New Age.

Magazine posts articles and reviews in English, French, German and Italian language.
